IULI English Club Holds Their First English Competition

IULI English Club (IEC) trains its members’ public speaking skills through practice sessions that are held every week. Here they are taught not only how to be persuasive in their speeches, but also how to make logical arguments in debate settings. English competition is not foreign for its members, they join competitions regularly and have brought home handsome achievements. Recently, IEC, in collaboration with IULI Student Executive Board, hosted their own english competition called IULINGUIST2021. The event served as a platform for public speakers to channel their prowess and is definitely one that you don’t want to miss out. 35 participants joined the event and there were 3 winners:

1st place:
Shafira Andhini Putri Handiyono (SMA Kolose Loyola, Semarang)

2nd place:
Despriley Nevina Hutapea (SMAN 2, Tangerang Selatan)

3rd place:
Nabila Rizky Aryani (Sriwijaya University)
