Experience Is The Best Teacher

On April 25, 2019, I attended the 2ndInternational Conference on Business, Economics, and Social Sciences in Malang, Indonesia that was hosted by Universitias Islam Malang. It was such an honor to attend a conference that was filled with academics from all around the globe, especially since I was still in the process of my Bachelor’s Degree. Many of the academics were well-renowned professors and lecturers who are known in the academic world. Many presenters from well-known universities in Indonesia were present such as Universitas Indonesia and ITB.

Key speakers of the event were Dr. Jamie Seth Davidson of National University of Singapore and Prof. Dr. Othman Yong from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

My presentation was about “The Economic Impact of Water Pollution” and it was a joint paper with my dean of faculty and other lecturers; Dr. Samuel PD Anantandjaya, Dr. Satiri, Ms. Wulan, and Mr. Timotius Rachmat.

Overall, the event was and exciting experience and it was an absolutely honor to join an international conference during my studies.
